Community Foundations Accepts Donations for Pajaro Residents

The Community Foundations for Monterey and Santa Cruz counties are taking donations to assist Pajaro residents impacted by the recent flooding.
Donations will provide emergency assistance and relief through local nonprofits for needs, including food, emergency shelter, financial assistance to those evacuated, support for first responders, as well as recovery efforts.
Bulk items can be delivered to Second Harvest Food Bank at 800 Ohlone Parkway in Watsonville.
Raíces y Cariño is also collecting physical donations such as water, diapers, toilet paper, clothing that is new or gently used, and blankets between 10AM-6PM at 1205 Freedom Blvd Unit 3B, in the back of the parking lot.
Please keep in mind that the most effective way to help the victims of the flooding is through monetary donations to the foundations.
