Watsonville Wetlands Restoration Day

Join us this Saturday from 9-noon to have fun helping the wetlands! We’ll be meeting at Hope Park (76 Hope Drive in Watsonville), and walking to a special restoration site where we’ll take care of the plants our Climate Corps Leadership Interns planted last winter by getting rid of any weeds coming near them. If you’ve been feeling the need to do something great for the community or just to rip out some plants this day is for you! We’ll provide tools and gloves but be sure to bring water, sun protection, and comfy shoes. We hope to see you there!
[ESP]¡Únete a nosotros este sábado de las 9am – 12 pm para divertirnos ayudando a los humedales! Nos reuniremos en Hope Park (76 Hope Drive en Watsonville) y caminaremos hacia un sitio de restauración especial donde cuidaremos de las plantas que nuestros estudiantes del Climate Corps Leadership Institute plantaron el invierno pasado. Quitaremos las malas hierbas que les quitan agua, nutrientes, y sol a las plantas nativas. Si ha sentido la necesidad de hacer algo grandioso por la comunidad o simplemente arrancar algunas plantas, ¡este día es para usted! Le proporcionaremos herramientas y guantes, pero asegúrese de traer agua, protección solar, y zapatos cómodos. ¡Esperamos verte ahí!
