1:1 Instruction for Middle School, High School, & College
With a M.Ed. from Stanford and a California Teaching Credential, I have taught high school Humanities for 30 years and am particularly experienced in teaching writing, history, literature, and social studies.
Twenty of these years were at The Bay School of San Francisco, where I gained extensive experience working one-on-one with a wide range of students, many of whom have documented learning differences.
I deeply understand independent schools, having helped found The Bay School and served in a variety of school leadership roles, most recently as the Humanities Department Chair. I bring this holistic knowledge of the school experience to my work with students.
