Resources for parents and service providers of teens/youth
Passing on some resources for parents and service providers of teens/ youth. These may be helpful to assist youth with questions and processing after a traumatic event/ loss. In general, caring adults can:
· Strive to be factual when providing information;
· Listen and acknowledge the child’s emotions; and
· Help the child feel secure by providing reasonable and realistic reassurances.
