Watsonville Wetlands 4th Saturday Restoration Event

Join us in restoring our wetlands on Saturday, June 24, 9am-12pm and every 4th Saturday. Meet us at 9am at the Fitz Wetlands Educational Resource Center, 500 Harkins Slough Road, at the top of the Pajaro Valley High School campus.
The work site will be located on the Land Trust of Santa Cruz County’s Watsonville Slough Farm, 275 Lee Road in Watsonville.
We will be working on a grassland restoration project site, caring for plants that were planted last year. We will remove non-native plants and add mulch. If the timing is right, we may also collect some seed for propagation.
Please note that it is about a 10 minute walk on a rough dirt road from the parking area to the work site, including a steep uphill climb. (Folks with vehicles with adequate clearance may drive up to the site.) We hope to see you there!
