Teens: Volunteer at Watsonville Library
September 27, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
FreeTeens: Volunteer at Watsonville Library
Tuesday afternoons
Teens aged 13-18 may earn community service hours for school by volunteering at the library.
We are looking for volunteers who can commit to working every Tuesday afternoon throughout the school semester.
Types of Activities:
♦ Cleaning books, tables, & chairs
♦ Prepping craft materials for children’s programs
♦ Assisting staff at library programs
♦ A variety of other activities as they arise
How to Become a Teen Volunteer:
1. Ask for or download a volunteer application.
2. Fill it out completely, including an email address and a signature from your parent or guardian.
3. The teen librarian will contact all applicants at the beginning of each semester.
4. Attend the Teen Volunteer Orientation (the teen librarian will let you know when it is).
If you feel you cannot commit to work every week, but you still want to help out with other library programs, attend the orientation.
If you aren’t able to earn your community service hours with us, there are other Community Service Locations in the community that would love to have your help.
For more information contact Teen Librarian Jillian Wilson at (831)768-3414.
