Tales to Tails Felton Library
3rd Tuesdays, 3-4pm, April 15 – December 16
Tales to Tails is a literacy program designed to help children improve their reading skills by providing them the opportunity to read to certified therapy dogs.
Programs like Tales to Tails have been implemented nationally in both libraries and schools and have proven to be extremely effective in increasing the self-confidence and reading abilities of the participants.
Child must be 6-17 years old, and already reading to some degree. Our volunteer handlers are there to provide support but are not trained reading instructors.
Call 831-427-7708 to make a 30-minute appointment at the Felton Branch Library at either 3pm or 3:30pm on the 3rd Tuesday of every month.
We and our furry friends look forward to seeing you there!
