SPCA Santa Cruz PAWS for JUNIORS Program Tier 2 December 3-17
Wednesdays 4-6pm, September 9-24, October 8-22, November 6-20, December 3-17
Junior PAWS Tier 2, for returning students 7-9 years old, builds upon the children’s knowledge and skills about animals in PAWS Tier 1.
It runs for three weeks and refines the children’s animal handling skills.
The program establishes the children’s awareness of the Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare and engages students in stories of animal rescues.
Participants play games about animal welfare, train dogs, walk dogs and make enrichments for the dogs and cats.
They also create adoption posters to be displayed on the animals’ kennel doors. Register now for animal snuggles!
