Santa Cruz Parent Education Nursery School (SCPENS) has been supporting families with young children, 15 months through preschool, for over 45 years. SCPENS is a cooperative parent participation program, the only co-op in town with a toddler program. SCPENS provides children with a safe and nurturing environment while also providing parent education, community, stimulating activities and a place where adults and children can come as they are. Social emotional development and a play based curriculum are foundational components of our program.
SCPENS invites you to one of our Open Houses on Wednesday, April 7 or Saturday, April 17. We will be scheduling times for each family to safely come and visit the school. Bring the family to experience our classrooms, meet our teachers, tour our campus, and learn how a cooperative school works.
