Does your favorite stuffed animal have a sniffle or maybe just needs a check-up? Come play alongside Cabrillo College Nurses in training and make sure Teddy is feeling their best!
Engaging in play can be an effective approach for children to overcome apprehensions or uneasiness about visiting the doctor. At Santa Cruz Children’s Discovery Museum, Teddy Bear Clinic kids can dress up as a doctor or nurse and take their favorite stuffed animal to different stations simulating checking blood pressure, giving shots, and ensuring that their toy is in perfect health.
