Join us at Rising Higher to learn about survivors of discrimination, homelessness, human trafficking, gender-based violence, and war. We’re using our hard won wisdom to create a world free from poverty and exploitation.
We’ve created multiple pathways for survivors to be social impact entrepreneurs. Because we believe that people who have experienced marginalization and oppression have the greatest potential to end it.
One of the programs benefiting from event proceeds is the Rising Safe and Sound human trafficking prevention program for youth. This innovative program was launched in Santa Cruz County in 2015. It was created and is led by local survivors of human trafficking.
At the event, you’ll have the special opportunity to meet and hear from several members of the Rising Safe and Sound Team!
