Join us for an evening of food, farming presentations, and tiki merriment on October 2, from 4:30 – 7pm
at beautiful Whiskey Hill Farm in Watsonville.
oin us on Sunday, Oct. 2nd from 4:30 – 7pm for a special fundraiser reception & Happy Hour in support of 2022 Open Farm Tours. Meet your farming community for a delicious and informative evening at Whiskey Hill Farm located in Watsonville.
Our tiki themed Happy Hour includes a fantastic spread of locally sourced food, beer, wine & tiki inspired beverages followed by presentations about the current state of agriculture in our tri county region.
Pam Krone & Jazmine Mejia-Munoz / CA. Marine Sanctuary Foundation & Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary – Water Quality Program Managers, will give be giving a presentation on how our area is addressing plastics in agriculture recycling & healthy soils.
Adam Bolaños Scow / CORA, (Campaign for Organic & Regenerative Agriculture) Will be presenting on the state of pesticide use in our county.
David Blume / Whiskey Hill Farm owner, will give a presentation on how their farm is addressing regenerative agriculture followed by a tour of Blume Distillery and a walk through their “tropical food forest greenhouse” where they grow a vast selection of exotic plants and ginger.
Add to all that … gifts donated by our sponsors to raffle off and more! Tickets are $60 each and 2 for $100 / You must be age 21 or older to attend.
Our Happy Hour takes place in a well ventilated reception area open to the outdoors and adjacent greenhouse. Please wear sturdy shoes, (no high heels), to tour the greenhouse area that has uneven wood chip paths.
