Come see the Nutcracker with live orchestra at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium Saturday and Sunday, December 18 and 19. Since 2002, the Santa Cruz Ballet Theatre has presented the original Santa Cruz Nutcracker production at the Civic Auditorium, this year with two performances each day at 1 pm and 5 pm.
We are excited to be back on the stage with the Santa Cruz Ballet Theatre Orchestra conducted by Music Director Pamela Martin!
No other production in the area features 52 professional musicians, bringing the beauty of Tchaikovsky’s score to glorious life. The SCBT Nutcracker features stunning choreography, costumes, scenery, lighting, right in the Civic Auditorium.
