Migratory Birds of the SLV & Why They’re Fantastic

Saturday, November 15, 10:30am – 11:30am

Felton Branch

Join us to learn about a few winter migratory bird species occurring in the San Lorenzo Valley.

During this hour-long program, we’ll chat about fun facts, their ecology and life history and, furthermore, how to identify these fabulous birds. We’ll conclude the event by learning about community-science based ways to get involved.

Community-led Learning Presenter Bio: Dylan McManus is an avid birdwatcher with CA State Parks who enjoys spending long periods of time with individual bird species trying to identify why they’re so darn cool.
