Longboard Union Memorial Day Surf Contest

The Annual Santa Cruz Longboard Union Memorial Day Surf Contest will be at Steamer Lane this weekend! Longboarders from across the state take over Steamer Lane each Memorial Day weekend, as nearly 200 contestants compete in the longest-running longboard surf contest on the West Coast. The mission of the Santa Cruz Longboard Union is to preserve, promote, and perpetuate the values, belief, and essence of surfing.
