In-Home Support Services Series with Disability Rights California

For more than 40 years, Disability Rights California (DRC) has been protecting and advocating for the rights of Californians with disabilities. This is a series of workshops you don’t want to miss! Each date will focus on a new topic. Attend all four or just the ones you need:
1) Tuesday, January 18 – IHSS Basics ~ Learn about IHSS eligibility, services, parent providers of minor children rules, and much more.
2) Tuesday, February 8 – Assessments ~ Do you have an IHSS assessment/re-assessment? Join us to learn how to prepare a self-assessment.
3) Thursday, February 17 – Calculating Hours ~ Come and learn about the tools used by IHSS social workers to calculate IHSS hours.
4) Tuesday, February, 22 – Appeals ~ Learn about the appeals process, how to prepare for a hearing, what happens during a hearing, and other information.
