HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOD!

Enjoy MOD’s Lucky 7th birthday party with Team SCCMOD on Saturday, November 13 with a day packed full of fun birthday party demos! Admission price drops to $7 for the day (get it?! AND we’ll be offering a $25-off birthday party if booked on November 13, in-person, online or over the phone. Check out our tentative schedule below (subject to change).

MOD’s 7th Birthday Party Schedule:

* 10-10:45am Mermaid Adventures – Color your hair with washable color chalk and resemble a lovely mermaid. In the background, we’ll be playing Little Mermaid (muted) with the actual soundtrack for dancing in our dance area.

* 10:45-11:30am Bring Your Own Theme – Join us in the program room during this time to celebrate the MOD! We’ll be singing happy birthday to the museum and making MOD birthday hats to take home.

* 11:45-12:30pm Spin Art – We’ll have our famous spin art bike out for fun art-making also in the program room. Let your art dry and then come back a bit later to take it home!

* 12:30-1pm Dance Party – In addition to activating our LED dance stage area and pulling out our rainbow dance ribbons for everyone, we’re going to have Leap! (muted) playing on the monitor in our microscope area.

* 2:30-3:15pm Nerf Gun Target Practice – Test your aim with our Nerf guns and target (the Nerf birthday theme is battle-appropriate, but we’re focusing on target practice this day).

* 3:15-4pm Gymnastics – Have fun and use your gymnastics skills during MOD’s museum-wide obstacle course led by one of MOD’s staff members. We’ll be screening 2nd Chance (muted) on the TV in the microscope area as well.

* 4:15-5pm Mini Volcano Eruption – Participate in making your own mini-volcano erupt in our program room.
