Join State Park docents on an easy 1-mile, 2wo-hour stroll on the Sequoia Audubon Trail. Learn about the fascinating human history of the Pescadero Marsh from the days of the Ohlone to the present. Discover the byways of Pescadero and Butano Creeks as they flow through this restored marsh to meet the Pacific Ocean, while looking at a variety of interesting plants, wildlife, and numerous bird species that use this important stop along the Pacific Flyway. Dress in layers, wear walking shoes, and bring water. Binoculars recommended. Pre-registration required at www.santacruzstateparks.as.me. Meet in the middle Pescadero State Beach parking lot.
