We KNOW you work hard every day, but February is the month of love, so your local shelter wants to help you find SOMEBODY TO LOVE! Through the month of February, Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter is reducing adoption fees to ½ the normal rates and holding several adoption events to make it easier to find that special furry someone…
Adopters need to be at least 21 years old, have a photo ID, and should be thoughtful and aware of what types of pets are appropriate for their lifestyle and allowed where they live.

Reduced adoption fees include vaccinations, spay or neuter surgery, and a microchip to help protect the pet and set you up for a long, healthy life together!
Adult dogs = $75 (usually $150)
Puppies under 6 months old = $105 (usually $210)
Adult cats = $55 (usually $110)
Kittens under 6 months old = $60 (usually $125)
Rabbits = $35 (usually $75)
The Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter at 1001 Rodriquez Ave, Santa Cruz 95062 is open from 11am to 6pm every day (closed February 19) and has hundreds of adoptable pets to choose from in the shelter and in foster homes. To view available pets, visit scanimalshelter.org !
