Scotts Valley Recreation is excited to host our second Family Campout! Join us for a family campout right here at our park! We have a variety of games and activities planned to keep everyone active and entertained throughout the evening; including a night hike, glow in the dark lawn games, crafts, pool and of course, s’mores! This year were allowing check-in earlier and hosting a later check-out!

Families will set up their tent sites on the upper grass field of Siltanen Park and enjoy the evening with Scotts Valley Recreation. Last year was a huge success and filled up fast, be sure to get your reservations in asap!

• All families members must pre-register before attending the campout.
• Location: Siltanen Park (127 Vine Hill School Rd. Scotts Valley)
• Time: Saturday, Check in begins at 3:00pm, Sunday checkout is no later then 10:00am
• Cost: $40pp (children 3+) *everyone must have a ticket
• Price Includes: 1 campsite, Taco Dinner, S’mores, Bagels, Fruit & Coffee, Games, Swimming, & Activities

Space is limited, Registration closes by September 5th, 2025 (*no refunds after September 5th)

Packing List: Tent, Flashlights, Sleeping Bags, Pillow, Chairs, Snacks, Blankets, Water Bottles, Swim Suits, Floaties (if needed) & Personal Items

FAQ’s:

• Children of all ages are welcome. 2 & under are free. Everyone in your party must register.
• No animals are allowed at campout
• Activities are optional for anyone who wants to join in and have fun
• Gluten- Free & Vegetarian options will be available at meal service.
• Participants are responsible for setting up their own campsites and unloading their own items
• There are no wagons, or carts available. Please bring what you need to assist you
• Quiet hours are 11pm-6am
• At check in you will receive a map and a schedule of activities
• Check in at the SV Recreation table near the amphitheater in the entrance to Siltanen Park
• Owing to the size of the pool there are no pool toys or tubes allowed. We will have sign-up times. Arm/waste floaties are allowed for littles. Lifeguards will be onsite.
• Park in the lot directly across the street from the park, very close and accessible to your campsite.
• We encourage a device free weekend!
• This is a family camp. Parents come with their children and are respectful of other families there.
