College & Career Family Night

Monday 6-8 p.m. October 24

Meet university representatives from numerous public, private, and out-of-state colleges and universities.  Students can also learn about Cabrillo’s academic pathways, attend workshops, take a quick career assessment, explore support programs, resources and clubs.  College and Career Family Night is a chance to meet university representatives from numerous public, private, and out-of-state colleges and universities. It is also an opportunity to learn about Cabrillo College’s certificate, degree and transfer opportunities, attend workshops, and explore various resources.

Two locations on campus with workshops at each to help you plan, launch, and navigate your college experience.

Library, Building 1000, Cabrillo Career & Academic Pathways,Learn about Cabrillo academic pathways, attend workshops, take a quick career assessment, explore support programs,resources and clubs.

Financial Aid Workshop:How much does college cost and how do I pay for it? Financial Aid staff will walk you and your family through the financial aid process.
Start times: 6:15pm, 6:45pm, & 7:15pm.  Location: Library, Room 1051 (2nd floor)
Making Cabrillo Work for You & Your Family Workshop: Why  attend a community college? Learn about the benefits of attending a community college, how to apply, Career and Academic Pathways: Learn about the benefits of attending a community college, how to apply, Career and Academic Pathways (CAPs) and Dual Enrollment while in high school.  Start times: 6:30pm & 7:30pm;  Location: Library, The HUB (2nd Floor)

Gymnasium, Building 1100, Meet University Representatives,Representatives from public, private, and out-of-state four-year colleges and universities will be on hand to provide information and answer your questions. For list of Universities who will be represented at the event, click the button below. (No high-heeled shoes allowed on the Gym floor)
Transfer Pathways Workshop: Cabrillo Academic Counselors will discuss the various pathways and programs that will allow you to transfer and pursue a bachelor’s degree.  Start times: 6:30pm & 7:30pm, Gymnasium, Room 1118
