Estate tour & outdoor lunch amid the lavender & rose garden at iconic Bonny Doon Farm.

Join us for an afternoon of sensory immersion at iconic Bonny Doon Farm. Gary & Diane Meehan started their 5-acre farm in 1972 – becoming the first lavender farm in the USA. Their property continues to produce lavender & is surrounded by the 500 acre State of California Bonny Doon Ecological Reserve.
The farm has been cultivating lavender and crafting small batch artisan products from premium ingredients for 49 years.
Our immersion begins at the upper lavender & rose garden area enjoying beverages and appetizers amid the lavender scented landscape. Operations manager Anita Elfing who has worked at the farm for over 20 yrs. will talk about the history of the farm and lead our tour of their amazing estate that was entirely designed & hand built by the owners. Every aspect of the farm is a true labor of love where organic architecture seamlessly intertwines with nature creating visual expressions of the love the owners had for each other and the land.
The property is not open to the public and this is a rare chance to experience something truly unique & wonderful!
After our tour, we’ll return to the upper garden where Kin & Kitchen catering of Bonny Doon has created a fantastic lunch menu utilizing locally sourced ingredients that highlight the unique characteristics of the farm & our region.
This is an outdoor event that takes place on a level grass lawn in the lavender & rose garden area. The tour involves easy walking on grass or pathways paved with rock so please dress accordingly and wear sensible shoes for walking.

Tickets & Cost
This event is for 30 people max with advance ticket purchases required. The cost is $80 per person + Eventbrite fee. Couples’ tickets for two people are $150 + Eventbrite fee.
