Would you like to know more about the Amah Mutsun Relearning Program at the Arboretum? Join us for the Friends of the Arboretum Members Meeting on Sunday, November 1, from 4 – 5 p.m.
Rick Flores, director of horticulture and steward of the Amah Mutsun Relearning Program, will speak about the genesis of the Amah Mutsun Relearning Program and where it is today. He will also talk about the tribe’s efforts to revitalize their culture through the relearning of traditional ecological knowledge.
We will also learn about the Arboretum’s progress and challenges this year, thank our outgoing board members, and vote in the new.
