All Junior Rangers Programs

Half Moon Bay State Beach: Half Moon Bay Junior Rangers, 7 to 12 year olds, Wednesdays 1:30 – 2:30pm

Seacliff State Beach: Seacliff State Beach Little Rangers, 3 to 6 year olds, Thursdays 10 – 10:30am

Any and all 3 to 6 year olds are invited to play games, listen to stories and songs, and learn about nature! Smiles, laughter, and good times abound at this program, and it’s a fantastic way to begin your morning in the park. Meet at the covered picnic tables next to the visitor center. Seacliff State Beach: Seacliff State Beach Junior Rangers, ages 7 to 12, Thursdays 11am – 12pm

This fun one-hour program offers kids, ages 7 to 12, an opportunity to earn prizes while learning about birds, sea life, and local park animals, playing games, and doing arts and crafts. Santa Cruz Mission SHP: Santa Cruz Mission Junior Rangers, 7 – 12 year olds, Thursdays 11am – 12:15pm

Junior Rangers is a statewide program for 7 – 12 year olds. Journey back in time through crafts, games, and STEAM activities. Explore the landscapes and lifeways of people from California’s rich history and earn prizes for participation.

New Brighton State Beach: New Brighton Little Rangers, 3 to 6 year olds, Fridays 1 – 1:30pm

Any and all 3 to 6 year olds are invited to play games, listen to stories and songs, and learn about nature! Smiles, laughter, and good times abound at this program, and it’s a fantastic way to begin your morning in the park. Meet at the campground Ramada. For more information, call (831) 685-6444.

Sunset State Beach: Sunset State Beach Little Rangers, ages 3-6 , Fridays 1 – 1:30pm

Explore, hike and play games as you learn about plants, animals, and more. This 30-min program is for kids ages 3-6 and their adult . Please meet at the picnic tables located right before arriving at the Sunset kiosk. Please be sure your child is dressed for active play (closed-toe shoes).
