1st Annual Alfred Hitchcock Festival in Scotts Valley, CA.
Did you know Alfred Hitchcock lived in Scotts Valley? Yes, this world-famous director lived in Scotts Valley from 1940-1970. Many of his creations were filmed on the Northern California Coast, including Vertigo, based in San Francisco and San Juan Bautista; The Birds, inspired by an actual event in Capitola; as well as Psycho, filmed in Bodega Bay.
The Scotts Valley Community Theater Guild is excited to announce that the first annual Hitchcock Festival will be held on the weekend nearest to National Alfred Hitchcock Day, March 12.
Check out the host of exciting guests and activities planned for the extravaganza. Come dressed as Hitchcock or in a Hitchcock-themed costume if you’d like a chance at winning some prizes!
