2026 Santa Cruz County STEAM Expo

Saturday, March 28, 10am-3pm, Public Viewing: 8am-9am and 2pm-3pm

The Santa Cruz County STEAM Expo is a free, one-day celebration of student ingenuity that is free to attend and open to students and families of all ages. On March 28, the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds will come alive with dozens of hands-on interactive exhibitions from regional organizations, student project showcases, live performances, food, and more.

For families, it’s a fantastic free day out. For students, it’s a chance to show off their work or discover a new passion. For partners and schools, it’s an opportunity to connect with the whole community. The STEAM Expo is organized by the Santa Cruz County Office of Education in partnership with local school districts and dozens of organizations in our county and region. It is sponsored by the Synopsis Outreach Foundation.
