Celebrating 11 years of Open Farm Tours this October 12th & 13th, 2024
Do you love local food and farms? Want to get to know your farmer better and get a behind-the-scenes look into our regions vibrant working agricultural landscape? During the 2024 Open Farm Tours, you can meet the farmers and learn what it takes to bring your favorite high-quality local farm products to your plate.
All farms implement sustainable agriculture practices & are family owned.
The greatest part about Open Farm Tours is learning what makes every farm unique. Press apples for fresh juice at one farm, taste over 10 varieties of figs at another and then head over to another farm to pick tomatoes. Touring farms is a fantastic outdoor activity to do together and October is a great time to get out and explore!
Participating Farms
We have 13 participating Farms this year:
Blossoms Biodynamic Farm, Luz Del Valle Farm, Esperanza Community Farms, DeerBrook Farms, Live Earth Farm, Sea To Sky Farm, Thomas Farm, Prevedelli Farm, Whiskey Hill Farms, Mariquita Farm, Beeline Blooms, Dos Aguilas olive grove & Pajaro Pastures Ranch.
Click on the Farms menu tab for a listing of each participating farms profile page. Click on the Schedules tab in the drop down menu for what days each farm will be open and the times they are offering their tours, Click on the Activity tab for a list of all activities and animals at each farm.
Tickets
We have two ticket formats available this year. Our “Friends & Family Pass” allows up to 5 people per carload to tour 9 participating farms on Saturday, October 12 for one price of $25 per carload! People can tour these farms at their own pace between the hours of 10am and 4pm.
Due to limited public access and schedules, not all of the farms can be included in this pass so we are offering Scheduled Tours on Sunday, October 13 for 4 farms. These farms are ticketed separately per carload (up to 5 people).
