Beyond Behavior Therapy is a family-centered therapy practice based in Santa Cruz, offering individualized therapy packages for children, teens, and families. Packages may include direct therapy with your child and caregiver training and education, ensuring progress extends into everyday life. Led by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), services focus on strengthening emotional regulation, social connection, flexibility, and independence through compassionate, evidence-informed care.
We support children who may experience challenges with emotions, relationships, transitions, or executive functioning, including those who are neurodivergent, highly sensitive, or benefit from more individualized support. Each therapy package is tailored to your child’s developmental profile and your family’s goals, integrating direct work with your child alongside caregiver guidance so you feel confident supporting growth in real-world moments.
Services are available in person in Santa Cruz and surrounding areas, as well as virtually throughout California. Additional services include caregiver education, school observations and assessments, IEP consultation, and social skills groups to promote consistency across settings. Because services are provided by a BCBA, therapy packages may be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement for families seeking coverage under their behavioral health or ABA benefits.
