Rail and Trail Family Fun Festival
Sunday, September 21, 12 – 4pm
This fabulous Rail & Trail Family Fun Festival features a round-trip train ride through the redwoods to a party at Roaring Camp. The afternoon features live music by JADe with Ted Porter and Patti Maxine, raffle prizes, games for children, and a delicious picnic lunch with free soft drinks. Local beer and wine will be available for purchase.
Volunteers will be on hand to share the history and future of rail transit in Santa Cruz and updates on the 32-mile Rail Trail construction projects. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Rail & Trail.
Schedule
-12-12:30 p.m. Board train at the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz and depart for Roaring Camp
-1:30 p.m. Arrive at the festival at Roaring Camp
-3 p.m. Board train at Roaring Camp
-4 p.m. Arrive back at the Boardwalk
