2nd & 4th Tuesdays , 4:30 – 6pm through June 9
Tales to Tails is a literacy program designed to help children improve their reading skills by providing them the opportunity to read aloud to certified therapy dogs. Programs like Tales to Tails have been implemented nationally in both libraries and schools and have proven to be extremely effective in increasing the self-confidence and reading abilities of the participants. This program is for established readers struggling with reading aloud, not reading tutoring.
Call 831-427-7713 to make a 30-minute appointment at the Downtown branch. Appointments are available between 4:30 and 6:00 pm, on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. We and our furry friends look forward to seeing you there!
