Tree Hike in Henry Cowell

Come join us on Saturday, August 27 at 3 pm for a flora-filled morning learning about different tree species here at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. Learn all about the life histories and characteristics of up to 15 different tree species residing in the redwood forest and/or riparian ecosystems, practice the fundamentals of tree identification, and recieve supporting materials and guides.

We will meet at the visitor center to begin the walk. Be prepared to walk 2 miles on level trail and dress appropriately for weather conditions.
