Pages and Popcorn Nomadland

Join the La Selva Beach Library Friends for Pages and Popcorn: Nomadland, a free book-to-movie event on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 1 to 4 pm.

We’ll screen the Oscar-winning film adapted from Jessica Bruder’s reporting on older Americans living on the road and following seasonal work across the West.

Afterward, Logan Walker, Director of Programming for the Santa Cruz Film Festival and a film studies lecturer at UCSC and San José State, will lead a discussion.

If you’d like to read the book first, copies are on the Friends shelves near self-checkout, but reading isn’t required.

The event is open to adults 18 and over.
