Sculpt Your Pet Holiday Gifts Benefit for Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation

Join us for Sculpt Your Pet: Holiday Gifts, a special one-night ceramics workshop created in partnership with the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation. This November, we’re putting a holiday spin on this popular workshop and inviting you to create a one-of-a-kind handmade gift inspired by a beloved pet.

In this beginner-friendly session, you’ll create a custom bobblehead sculpture inspired by a pet. Bring photos of your own pet, or choose from a selection of adoptable animals from the shelter and craft a piece inspired by them. Give your finished sculpture to someone special, or make one as a keepsake for yourself.

Our instructors will guide you step by step through hand building techniques to shape, assemble, and glaze your piece during the session, with plenty of room for personality and creative expression.

We’re proud to partner with the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the county’s open-admission animal shelter and the thousands of animals it serves each year. The Foundation helps fund essential care, medical treatment, and community programs that protect and improve the lives of animals across Santa Cruz County.

As part of this special event, 25% of proceeds will be donated to support their work!

All materials, glazing, and firing are included. We’ll fire your sculpture after class and notify you when it’s ready for pickup in approximately 2–4 weeks.
