SCYC Juniors Try Sailing Day is a free afternoon on the water for kids and families who want to give sailing a try. No experience needed — just come find out what it’s all about.
Join the Santa Cruz Yacht Club Junior Program for an afternoon of sailing, friends, and food. Kids will learn about the youth sailing programs and have the chance to head out on a short sail with some of our experienced junior sailors. Life jackets and helmets are provided, and our coaches and safety boats are on the water throughout.
Ages 8 and up are welcome. The event is free, but please RSVP so we can plan for boats and food. It’s also the kickoff to our fall season — a great time to see whether sailing might be your child’s new favorite thing.
