Navigating Tech & Screen Time Together: Growing Together in the Digital Age – A 3-Part Community Series Co-Hosted by the Santa Cruz County Office of Education & Common Sense Media Screen time, digital habits, and classroom learning tools are top of mind for today’s families.
We invite parents, guardians, and caregivers across Santa Cruz County to join us for a supportive virtual series focused on building healthy digital balance at home and in school.
The series kicks off on October 21 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. with a session on understanding classroom technology, followed by future sessions on home-school balance and digital well-being.
Session 1: Understanding Tech in the Classroom – Wednesday, October 21, 5:30 – 6:30pm (Virtual / Zoom)
An introduction to how digital tools are used in modern learning environments and what parents should know.
Session 2: Finding Digital Balance at Home & School – Wednesday, December 9, 5:30 – 6:30pm (Virtual / Zoom)
