Join Thrill the World Santa Cruz for free community dance classes and spooky Halloween performances! Learn Michael Jackson’s iconic “Thriller” choreography—no dance experience required—and join us for the official worldwide Thrill the World dance on October 24 at 3 PM in Downtown Santa Cruz.

Thrill the World Santa Cruz is returning this fall with a series of free community dance rehearsals and Halloween performances, leading up to the official worldwide Thrill the World dance on October 24 at 3pm.

Thrill the World is a global event where communities around the world learn and perform Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” choreography together. Here in Santa Cruz, our volunteer team offers free classes open to the community, with no dance experience required. Participants can learn the choreography, join us for one or several performances, or simply come take a class for fun.

Our first rehearsal is also a teacher training for anyone interested in learning how to teach the choreography in their school, organization, or community group.

All rehearsals are free, and we especially welcome families, students, teachers, community groups, and anyone who wants an excuse to dance like a zombie in public. Attached is our schedule flyer.
