Head for the Sandhills!

Registration is now open for the popular Sandhills Hikes at Quail Hollow Ranch. Join a guided hike with Park Docent Sean Wharton to see and learn about the many rare species that make this special place their home: this is the only time to visit the flower-covered hills of the sandhills habitat. Wear good walking shoes, and bring a hat, and water. Due to the sensitive nature of the area, group size is limited to 10. This is a slow hike open to ages 8 and up; *ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Participants must be able to hike up to two hours. Advance registration through ActiveNet is required for this activity. Hikes are held every Sunday in April from 10AM-12PM and 1-3PM.
