Attend a free safeTALK workshop on recognizing the warning signs of suicide.
SafeTALK , or Suicide Alertness for Everyone, is a 4-hour training that provides training in suicide alertness, equipping participants with the knowledge to recognize when a person might be having thoughts of suicide and how to discuss suicide amongst further skills. Upcoming trainings are 9 a.m-1 p.m. Nov. 8 and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Santa Cruz COE.
LivingWorks safeTALK is a four-hour face-to-face workshop featuring powerful presentations, audiovisuals, and skills practice.
At a LivingWorks safeTALK workshop, you’ll learn how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, engaging someone, and connecting them to an intervention resource for further support.
