A Home Town Celebration
Morgan Hill, with continuous July 4th celebrations since 1876 remains one of the very few cities in the entire Bay Area that continues to have all day events surrounding the 4th of July. Our events include Patriotic Sing, Downtown Family Street Dance, Freedom Run, Parade, Car Cruise n’ Show and spectacular Fireworks and entertainment show.
This celebration remains free of charge to our entire community, and we welcome everyone to come together on the birthday of our country. We are dependent on donations and sponsorships for 100% of our funding so please consider donating.
The City of Morgan Hill is one of the only two cities in the San Francisco Bay Area that continues to have all day events surrounding the Fourth of July Holiday. Our Independence Day Celebration includes the Patriotic Sing, Bike Classic, Family Music Fest, Freedom Run, Parade, Car Cruise & Show and of course, the spectacular Fireworks.
Freedom Fest is truly a hometown celebration dedicated to preserving our national and local heritage and most important, celebrating our freedom as citizens of the United States of America. We are the largest annual event in Morgan Hill, put on entirely by volunteers. The award-winning parade alone is the largest privately organized parade in Northern California and the official 4th of July Parade of Santa Clara County.
