DESCRIPTION:Beginner Bird Walk / Paseando con los Pájaritos\nSaturday\, March 29\, 10am – 12pm \nJoin the Bird School Project as they close out the celebrations for Hummingbird Month. \nThis bird walk is beginner and family-friendly. \nBring binoculars if you have them\, if not\, binoculars or a monocular will be provided for you during the walk. \nThe group will meet up at the entrance of the Australia Garden right next to the large cypress tree in the middle of the parking lot. \nA Bird School Instructor will be leading the walk and will alternate speaking English and Spanish as needed. \nWe encourage you to arrive at least 15 minutes early if you need to borrow binoculars. \n  \nÚnase a la Escuela de Aves mientras cierran las celebraciones del Mes del Colibrí. \nEste paseo de aves es para principiantes y apto para familias. Traiga binoculares si los tiene\, si no\, se le proporcionarán binoculares o un monocular durante la caminata. \nEl grupo se reunirá en la entrada del Jardín Australia\, justo al lado del gran ciprés en el medio del estacionamiento. \nUn instructor de la Escuela de Aves liderará la caminata y alternará hablando en inglés y español según sea necesario. \nLe recomendamos que llegue al menos 15 minutos antes si necesita pedir prestados binoculares. \nFree with paid admission. In addition to beautiful wreaths and centerpieces\, offerings will include succulent and tillandsia driftwood pieces and terrariums\, stunning items created by local artisan woodworkers\, unique succulents in handmade vessels\, dish gardens\, and DIY wreath-making kits for those of you who want to try your hand at home. \nThe UC Santa Cruz Arboretum is a 50-year-old treasure and beloved destination for the central coast and local community that seeks to inspire stewardship of the world’s biodiversity through research\, education\, and the conservation of rare\, endangered\, and extraordinary plants. \nPlease park in the Visitor Parking Lot and walk to the sale in the Hort 2 Meeting Hall.
