A new date will be announced soon. \n Saturday\, February 25\, 0am – 4pm\n \nFree Health Fair on Feb. 25 at Highlands Park will offer COVID and Flu vaccines\, COVID test kits and programs on health and well-being \nSanta Cruz Community Health (SCCH)\, a nonprofit provider of high-quality\, affordable\, and comprehensive health services to everyone\, regardless of their ability to pay\, will be hosting a Health Fair at Highlands Park Senior & Community Center at 8500 Highway 9\, Ben Lomond on Saturday\, Feb. 25\, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. \nThe Health Fair will introduce the San Lorenzo Valley community to the wide variety of services that are available through SCCH\, which opened a clinic in Ben Lomond in January 2022. The Santa Cruz Mountain Health Center serves patients who live in the SLV area and beyond. \n“We are so grateful to be a part of the San Lorenzo Valley community and are dedicated to improving the health of our patients here\,” said SCCH CEO Leslie Conner. “Establishing a neighborhood clinic in the Valley improves access to health care and enhances lives of community members.” \nThroughout the Health Fair\, SCCH will offer Medi Cal enrollment services\, free COVID-19 test kits\, as well as activities and programs on health and well-being that are open to everyone. Presentations and activities are designed to address both physical and emotional needs of our community.  Some of the presentations include: \n\nThe Power of A.W.E.: Overcome Burnout & Anxiety\, Ease Chronic Pain\, Find Clarity & Purpose—In Less Than 1 Minute Per Day\, by local author and SCCH doctor Michael Amster\, MD\nEvidence-based lifestyle medicine with a practical approach to enhancing longevity with Dr. Steven Leib\nOpen question and answer session with Mila Shank\, SCCH Chief of Behavioral Health: anxiety\, depression\, trauma\nOpen question and answer session with Casey KirkHart\, MD\, SCCH Chief Medical Officer: COVID\, flu\, wellness\, prevention\n\nCommunity partners will also participate in the Health Fair. COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccinations will be available between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. without an appointment. \nSCCH’s Santa Cruz Mountain Health Center is in the historic Wee Kirk Church at the corner of Central and Main just down the street from the Ben Lomond post office.
