DESCRIPTION:Homeschool Day at the Santa Cruz Mission State Park\nFriday\, September 15\, 10am – 3pm \nCalling all homeschool families! Come to the Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park on Friday\, September 15th for a special field trip day of hands-on learning. \nHomeschool students of all ages are invited to join us at their own pace for a series of self-directed Mission education activities\, including an investigative exploration of our 200 year old building\, Mission Clues visual scavenger hunt\, adobe brick making\, archaeology sorting\, story reading of “When the Mission Bells Rang” by Judith Scott & Lydia Gibson\, discussion on our Mission Bell Virtual Exhibit\, and more. \nThis event is free\, no registration is required. Families are encouraged to carpool\, bike\, or park downtown Santa Cruz and walk\, as parking is limited on the hill. \nCall 831-425-5849 or email santacruzmission@ports-ca.us with any questions!
