DESCRIPTION:Attend A SafeTALK Workshop\nNovvember 8\, 9am – 1pm  and Dec.ember 8\, 10am – 2pm \nAttend a free safeTALK workshop on recognizing the warning signs of suicide.  \nSafeTALK \, or Suicide Alertness for Everyone\, is a 4-hour training that provides training in suicide alertness\, equipping participants with the knowledge to recognize when a person might be having thoughts of suicide and how to discuss suicide amongst further skills. Upcoming trainings are 9 a.m-1 p.m. Nov. 8 and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Santa Cruz COE. \nLivingWorks safeTALK is a four-hour face-to-face workshop featuring powerful presentations\, audiovisuals\, and skills practice.\nAt a LivingWorks safeTALK workshop\, you’ll learn how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs\, engaging someone\, and connecting them to an intervention resource for further support. \nCost: Free* Register \nIf you are interested and available for this training\, please complete the following short registration request and a trainer will be in touch with you shortly to confirm your registration and provide information on next steps!  Applications will be processed on a first come\, first served basis. We will be scheduling future trainings throughout 2022 and will develop a waitlist once capacity for this training has been reached.
