Join us at our downtown Santa Cruz Homeless Garden Project store for music\, food\, and art\, including samples of our delicious lavender shortbread! Our featured artist this month is Bruce Mello\, a local photographer and poet. \nLive music by Ben James. \nHomeless Garden Project Santa Cruz: 1338 Pacific Avenue\, open daily from 11-6. \nThe Homeless Garden Project provides job training\, transitional employment and support services to people experiencing homelessness. Integrated with our employment and training program\, we operate a community education and volunteer program that serves 2\,500 people in a typical year. Our programs take place in our organic farm and in related enterprises. \n“In the soil of our urban farm and garden\, people find the tools they need to build a home in the world.”
