Join for an indigenous land blessing\, spoken word\, live DJ thatsmaigirl\, beach games\, a beach cleanup\, a paddle lesson and of course the legendary paddle-out itself. Come enjoy the ocean with us. \nIt’s summertime\, so remember to carpool\, bike\, bus\, walk\, run\, skate\, etc!! \nBlack Surf Santa Cruz is hosting our third annual Liberation Paddle Out event in celebration of Juneteenth at Cowell Beach. The Liberation Paddle Out is a full day celebration in concert with the annual Santa Cruz Juneteenth celebration at the London Nelson Center to invite both BSSC members and the general public for a day out on the ocean. \nThe LPO is free event and a full day of fun and will include beach games\, live DJ on the beach\, a beach clean-up\, sand castle making competition\, paddle-out/paddle-out lessons\, free equipment (while supplies last)\, prizes\, and so much more. \nPaddle Out\, 2:30 PM. \nDJ: DJ Mai Girl \nBeach Clean Up Hosted by: Santa Cruz Surfrider \nSandcastle Competition (limited supplies available)!
