DESCRIPTION:Day on the Monterey Bay Regatta to Benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters\nSunday\, August 6\, 1 – 6pm \nThe Santa Cruz Yacht Club is pleased to announce the 31st annual Day on the Monterey Bay Regatta to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Santa Cruz County. This family friendly event features a reverse sailing race followed by an outdoor dinner party\, no host bar with music entertainment\, race awards\, a silent auction and raffle. \nSupport youth mentoring in our community!\nThe race begins at 1pm. The outdoor dinner party following the race begins at 3pm. Raffle tickets start at $10 and dinner tickets start at $30. \nTickets available at: t.ly/regatta \nSailors and all community members are invited to participate. Hundreds of children and youth across Santa Cruz County are waiting for a Big Brother/Big Sister. \nYOU can make a BIG difference in the lives of these children while having FUN! \nHow Does it Work? Just 3 Simple Steps! \nBowl for Kids’ Sake is a fun\, easy and a great way to get kids matched with a mentor! \n1. Create a Team: Teams are formed with 5 members. Create a team with family\, friends\, fraternity brothers\, sorority sisters\, or co-workers. \n2. Raise Money: Each bowler is asked to raise a minimum of $100 in donations. Each team raises $500. \n3. Join the Bowling Celebration!: After you’ve secured your donations\, it’s time to have fun! \nCost: Registration is free.
