SUMMARY:READ program with Ziggy the mini
DESCRIPTION:READ program with Ziggy the mini\nOne hour Sessions\, 1pm and 2pm\, on Saturday and Sunday afternoons\, beginning  November 30 and December 1\n \nREAD program (Reading Equine Art Duo) with Ziggy the mini was designed to strengthen reading skills in a fun\, creative way. Students experience nature\, art\, and animals in a relaxed\, calming environment. \nFrom this\, Lisa (a Reading Specialist with 25+ years of experience) works with students to build and develop strong reading skills such as: phonemic awareness\, phonics\, fluency\, vocabulary development\, and reading comprehension. \nSince reading is a gateway to accessing information\, students will likely improve in all subject areas. \nIn addition\, their self esteem will begin to soar as they gain confidence with each reading session. \nLastly\, Ziggy’s adorable\, gentleness is just too cute for words. Students will fall in love with him at first sight. So\, come join the fun and learn is a holistic way with Ziggy and Lisa 🙂 \n\nWhere: READ program is currently hosted at a ranch in Watsonville.  Also we will be visiting libraries\, schools\, hospitals\, and nursing homes soon!  Ziggy Stardust is our dwarf miniature horse and he loves reading with all age levels.     \nLisa is also available to visit your horse(s) and READ with them!  This social/mental stimulation provides an overall sense of well-being.  They love it; see video How tab for evidence.  😉 \n\n\n\n\nWhen: For availability\, more information and directions\, text Lisa at (831) 227-9847

SUMMARY:Postpartum Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Postpartum Support International\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNEW SUPPORT GROUP!\n\n\n\nPostpartum Psychosis (PPP) is rare. It occurs in approximately 1 to 2 out of every 1\,000 deliveries.  After a PPP survivor’s symptoms have been stabilized\, peer support can be an important tool for recovery. Because PPP occurs less often than other perinatal mood disorders\, survivors can go their whole lives without meeting another PPP survivor.  In response\, PSI has created an online peer-to-peer support group for PPP survivors. This group is intended for those who are in recovery (no longer experiencing psychosis).   Whether your PPP experience was relatively recent or years ago\, you are welcome to attend our free\, online peer-to-peer support group.\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister here: https://www.postpartum.net/…/psi-online-support-meetings/\nFull Meeting Schedule

DESCRIPTION:Hi Parents of Differently Wired Children \n3 live meet-ups Tuesdays 11am\, October 7\, 14\, and 21 \nOnce a year\, I gather our community for a free\, live virtual book club for Differently Wired\, and it’s that time again! Last year more than 200 folks joined me\, and I’m excited to host it again starting October 7! \nHere’s the quick rundown: \n\nParticipation is FREE (all you need is a copy of Differently Wired. Borrow it\, buy it\, or already have it)\n3 live meet-ups on Tuesdays\, October 7\, 14\, and 20\, 11am PT\,  2pm ET\nRecordings available for everyone who registers\nIncludes a 62-page interactive workbook to help you apply the “tilts” in your own family\n\nThere’s something so powerful about diving into this book together\, reflecting on the ideas\, and connecting with other parents who are walking a similar path. I’d love to go through this experience with you!\n \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER \nAnd if you know another parent who might appreciate this\, I’d be so grateful if forward this email to them or share in your communities. The more of us who come together to shift the paradigm for differently wired kids\, the stronger our collective impact will be. \nAlso\, if you haven’t read Differently Wired yet\, this is the perfect time — the e-book is on sale in the US for just $2.99 through September 30 (grab your copy on Amazon or Barnes & Noble)! That means you can read (or re-read) the book and then join me for this fun\, personal\, and supportive live experience. \nI hope to see you there! \nWith love & gratitude\, \nDebbie
