Students will fall in love with him at first sight. DESCRIPTION:Race Through the Redwoods\nSaturday\, August 17\, Kids Race starts at 8:10am; 10K Race starts at 8:30am \nCome out for Felton Business and Community Associations biggest fundraiser of the year! \nRace through the Redwoods starts at Roaring Camp and goes through Henry Cowell park! \nThe Race Thru The Redwoods starts and finishes at Roaring Camp Railroads in Felton\, California. The majority of the 10K race takes place under the redwoods in Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. The first mile is on paved or dirt roads\, followed by scenic trails under redwoods\, through meadows\, and alongside the San Lorenzo River. The moderate to challenging course rises approximately 300 feet in elevation between mile 2.5 and mile 3.5. The return is downhill on a mixture of dirt trails and paved roads\, and finishes at the starting line in Roaring Camp. The course is marked with mile markers\, and staffed with water/aid stations. \nPacket Pickup: Packet pickup happens on-location on race day. Please allow extra time for this. You can pick up your packet as early as 7am. \nBreakfast: A continental breakfast will be served to all registered runners. Plus\, while supplies last\, Zayante Fire Dept will offer a free pancake breakfast after the race for all runners\, and for $10 to any non-runners. Proceeds from the breakfast are a fundraiser for Zayante Fire Department. \nSwag: All entrants receive an event t-shirt \nTiming: Professional electronic (chip) timing services are provided by Ford Timing. Results will be provided immediately after the race. \nKids 1-Mile Race (Start Time: 8:10am) The kids 1-mile race is designed for kids aged 2-12. Parents may run along with their kids. DESCRIPTION:READ program with Ziggy the mini\nOne hour Sessions\, 1pm and 2pm\, on Saturday and Sunday afternoons\, beginning  November 30 and December 1\n \nREAD program (Reading Equine Art Duo) with Ziggy the mini was designed to strengthen reading skills in a fun\, creative way. Students experience nature\, art\, and animals in a relaxed\, calming environment. \nFrom this\, Lisa (a Reading Specialist with 25+ years of experience) works with students to build and develop strong reading skills such as: phonemic awareness\, phonics\, fluency\, vocabulary development\, and reading comprehension. \nSince reading is a gateway to accessing information\, students will likely improve in all subject areas. \nIn addition\, their self esteem will begin to soar as they gain confidence with each reading session. \nLastly\, Ziggy’s adorable\, gentleness is just too cute for words. Students will fall in love with him at first sight. So\, come join the fun and learn is a holistic way with Ziggy and Lisa 🙂 \n\nWhere: READ program is currently hosted at a ranch in Watsonville.  Also we will be visiting libraries\, schools\, hospitals\, and nursing homes soon!  Ziggy Stardust is our dwarf miniature horse and he loves reading with all age levels.     \nLisa is also available to visit your horse(s) and READ with them!  This social/mental stimulation provides an overall sense of well-being.  They love it; see video How tab for evidence.  😉 \n\n\n\n\nWhen: For availability\, more information and directions\, text Lisa at (831) 227-9847

Sutter care centers have local support groups to help you and other soon-to-be or new parents reduce stress and adjust to life with baby. \n  \nPregnancy and Parenting Support Groups\nOur support groups help parents navigate newborn care\, post-partum wellness\, sibling issues and partner relationship changes that can occur after baby arrives. \nWe also offer support groups for parents with babies in palliative care as well as those who have experienced miscarriage. These groups offer a compassionate environment for parents to receive and provide emotional support. \nOur new parent groups are often tailored to parents of newborns ages three weeks to four months and four months and older.
