You do not need to be an ACT member to attend. \nAdvisory Council of Teens (ACT) is the SCPL young adult advisory group. ACT is open to all Santa Cruz County young adults\, ages 12-18. The main focus of the ACT is young adult services\, including programs\, events\, spaces\, and policies.  This is a good opportunity for students to fulfill community service credits\, obtain job skills\, develop leadership abilities\, and acquire college extracurricular experience.

A Celtic Christmas springs from the infinitely rich treasury of Ireland’s cultural heritage: a re-creation of a night before Christmas in the West of Ireland in the 1940s\, before the advent of motorcar\, the television\, and the telephone. \nIn this recreation of age-old tradition\, neighbors bring their fiddles\, tin whistles\, flutes\, bodhráns\, uilleann pipes; and\, perhaps most important of all\, their unshakeable sense of community\, for a night of traditional music\, song\, dance\, and of course storytelling. The show’s Music Director is Grammy Award-winning guitarist and Santa Cruz resident William Coulter\, an internationally recognized master of the steel-string guitar.

These groups offer a compassionate environment for parents to receive and provide emotional support. \nOur new parent groups are often tailored to parents of newborns ages three weeks to four months and four months and older. DESCRIPTION:Postpartum Support International\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNEW SUPPORT GROUP!\n\n\n\nPostpartum Psychosis (PPP) is rare. It occurs in approximately 1 to 2 out of every 1\,000 deliveries.  After a PPP survivor’s symptoms have been stabilized\, peer support can be an important tool for recovery. Because PPP occurs less often than other perinatal mood disorders\, survivors can go their whole lives without meeting another PPP survivor.  In response\, PSI has created an online peer-to-peer support group for PPP survivors.
