No experience needed\, just your creativity!\n\nLet the adventure begin!\n\nNo prior experience is necessary. This program is for adults 18+. \nWhat is Dungeons and Dragons?  \nD&D is one of many tabletop role-playing games\, in which players create and control fictional characters within a shared imaginary world. A Game Master guides the story and sets the scene\, while the players make decisions for their characters\, rolling dice to determine outcomes. TTRPGs encourage creativity\, teamwork\, and storytelling as players collaborate to overcome challenges and complete quests. \nModern D&D has veered away from the combat-heavy game it used to be. DESCRIPTION:Postpartum Support International\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNEW SUPPORT GROUP!\n\n\n\nPostpartum Psychosis (PPP) is rare. It occurs in approximately 1 to 2 out of every 1\,000 deliveries.  After a PPP survivor’s symptoms have been stabilized\, peer support can be an important tool for recovery. Because PPP occurs less often than other perinatal mood disorders\, survivors can go their whole lives without meeting another PPP survivor.  In response\, PSI has created an online peer-to-peer support group for PPP survivors. DESCRIPTION:GSSCC Lecture: Local Maps and Where to Find Them\, guest speaker Lisa Robinson\n\nTuesday\, October 1\, 1-2:30pm \nMaps are an essential component in the study of local history\, but local maps can be a challenge to track down. Lisa will help you learn where to go\, both in person and online\, in your search for local maps\, this sometimes elusive\, but important\, resource. \nLisa Robinson has lived in the San Lorenzo Valley since 1990. She has been President of the Board of Directors of the San Lorenzo Valley Historical Society\, which owns and operates the San Lorenzo Valley Museum\, since 2008\, where she manages the exhibitions and collections. She is the author of The San Lorenzo Valley (Arcadia Press) and editor of Redwood Logging and Conservation in the Santa Cruz Mountains – A Split History (Santa Cruz MAH). She also writes local history columns for San Lorenzo Valley news publications. \nThis is an online event.
